Land and Water Class Descriptions

Participants will tone every part of their body in this innovative, timed interval class that utilizes three core pieces of equipment.

Take your workout to the next level with battle ropes, tire flips, sledgehammers and more! This class replaces the Sunday Muscle Max class for the summer. A boot camp waiver must be signed before participating. 

Want to add a little variety to your routine? This class consists of aerobic exercise that may include step moves, low impact aerobics, intervals, circuits, or drumming; followed by strength training and stretching. The speed of movement during the cardio section is faster than used for a Silver Sneakers Cardio/Circuit class.

This class alternates cardio segments with strength training using dumbbells, ball and more!

Looking for a challenging cardio workout? Group cycling is designed to encourage individuals of all ages and fitness levels. This class is set to motivating music and includes a warm-up, aerobic and anaerobic components, cool-down, and stretching. Bring a water bottle.

Join us for a class that hits upper body lifts and cardio drumming all in one. We will alternate one song lifting and one song drumming.

is a class that alternates cardio moves on the step with dumbbell exercises, and ends with mat based Pilates.

This class blends line dancing and other popular choreographed group dances. It is designed to improve balance and coordination, and help prepare you for dances at wedding receptions and other events.

A full body lifting class (no cardio) that closes each week with 15 minutes of mindful meditation and stretching. We will reset your week in the best possible way. Join us for a great lift and a space to reset, refocus, and re-energize!

This mat based class includes Pilate and Yoga moves that focus on core strengthening techniques to improve flexibility, posture, coordination and balance. Emphasis is placed on proper breathing and alignment. Designed for all fitness levels. Bring a mat and water. 

Get up and go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy to follow low-impact movement, upper body strength, muscular conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with low-impact aerobics choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

Have fun and move to the music in this low impact class through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and balls are used for resistance. A chair is used for seated and standing support.

This circuit style flow will include weights and cardio movements designed to increase strength and stamina. You will sweat and smile during this fun 50 minute circuit.

Challenge all muscle groups with this full body weight training workout using dumbbells, barbells, bands, a stability ball and more! This is a well-balanced workout desgined to improve muscle tone, strength and endurance. All levels welcome.

If you are looking for a vinyasa style rejuvenating and restorative practice, this class is for you. You’ll build from basic yoga postures working on balance and strength. Designed for all fitness levels. Bring a mat and water.

You will not be required to kneel or lie on the floor! Participants use a chair to sit on, stand beside and behind, and to increase stability and strength. This class is comfortably paced and offers plenty of modifications to accommodate different ranges of motion.

This class format provides continuous movement with exercises to improve range of motion, flexibility, and muscular strength and endurance. It may also include short cardio intervals. 

This class format includes cardio, strength and stretch.

Will include sustained cardiovascular conditioning for 20-30 minutes incorporating an interval format. Challenging cardio movements followed by short rest periods will keep your heart rate elevated to maximize health and fitness benefits. The cardio segment will be followed by strength training using resistance equipment such as noodles, water dumbbells, and kickboards. The cool down will include stretching and balance. Bring a water bottle. Aqua shoes recommended.

high energy aquatic workout combining zumba rhythm and dance steps with a pool party! It is a challenging, fun, body-toning workout- in the water! Reduce stress, improve blood circulation, and tone your body with this fun and engaging class. 

This class start with a warm up and includes at least 20 minutes of sustained aerobic activity that works large muscle groups, the heart and lungs. You will gain strength by using resistance equipment including but not limited to noodles, water dumbbells and kickboards. This class is well rounded with balance and stretching in the cool down. 

A cardio section followed by exercises designed to improve balance, flexibility, strength & functional fitness. 

offers fun shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. 

This is a shallow water workout that incorporates stretch and balance all while getting fantastic cardio too!

A slow & gentle class that uses warm water for extra support during what could be more challenging moves on land, such as balance work. The warm water also loosens muscles for an amazing stretch.
